In the electronic media, Les Aupiais has worked on shows on 702 Radio, SAFM Woman Today and 567 Cape Talk. She was the producer of the Cosmo Show on M-Net and still reports, from time to time, on M-Net's award-winning programme, Carte Blanche.

As an MC, work has included the Standard Bank Stars Awards Ceremony and the Independent Newspapers’ Woman of Worth among others.
In the world of the written word, Les launched and edited the award-winning weekly newspaper magazine Sunday Life, was a columnist and feature writer for Cosmopolitan magazine and Femina for several years and now contributes features to O Magazine and Visi.
Les Aupiais has been a Member of Cape Newspapers Executive and a part of the strategic and financial planning team of Independent Newspapers Cape; the Editorial Director of Condé Nast Independent Magazines; the “Hot wire” columnist in the Business Day, After Hours supplement; a Media and editorial adviser for a diverse variety of clients, including Toplife magazine and Touchline media. She has also been a columnist and feature writer for Altitude Magazine, Quality Life, Men’s Health and the Money Standard and Essentials magazine.
She heads her own media company, has co-published and has edited or contributed to a diverse range of books.
