After years as an actor in TV commercials, Michael De Pinna is now certainly best known as the �victim� in the series of �Yebo Gogo� advertisements. His current cabaret show features lots of gags and songs from the greats such as Frank Sinatra , Tom Jones, Elton John and Elvis and the words and music of Stephen Sondheim.Â
Born in England and educated at Hilton College, Michael De Pinna trained in the hotel trade before discovering his true calling � the stage!�and what a great MC he makes.
The musicals in which Michael has appeared have included : Babes in the Wood, Those Good Old Days, Edith Piaf�No Regrets, Annie, They�re Playing Our Song, The Archon, Pirates of Penzance, When Movies Were Movies. He played �Fagin� in Oliver and �Daddy Warbucks� in Annie.
Michael De Pinna was the leading man in the Brickhill Burke Extravaganza Bedazzled at Sun City and Leading Man at The Lido, Paris in 1982. His Revues have included �It�s the Top � Cole Porter� and �Hello Today S.A.�
Cabaret tours have taken in �Aphrodite�s, London� and �L�Hirondelle� in London�s West End, the �Wheel of Fortune� at the Sun City Superbowl and �The Top of the Carlton�. He has also worked on The Sun International Circuit in the Force Ten Show Bar, Gigi�s, Thaba �Nchu Sun, Mbatha Sun and Venda Sun.
He has also been cruise or entertainment director on four ships: the Achille Lauro, the Astor, the Aegean Dolphin and Song of Flower.
