CH2 is a dynamic duo (Christiaan Hattingh & Corneille Hutten-Burger) of acoustic guitarists with prodigious technique and great warmth who thrill with Spanish and Latin rhythms, the heat of an African heartbeat, the drive of popular classics, the swing of somewhat jazz, the lyrical harmony of Irish romance and the pure fun of their own compositions”.

Both classically trained, CH2 have won-over a large following in a very short time – doing their magic on acoustic guitar (including a new prototype that fascinates the ear and eye!)
CH2 say says: “Music is the universal "magical" language, understandable by every human being, creating emotions and giving us identity (kwaito, boeremusiek, whatever...), but in the end, it is not we who create the music, we are simply the medium for it to reach other people.
The duo met when playing for the Jose Montoya Spanish Dance Theatre, and after playing together for a couple of months, recorded their first demo CD.
Either playing just as a duo, or backed by a band consisting of a double bass and a African rhythm section of percussions, shakers, tambourines, the fusion of the Latin and Spanish fire and the African beats is something unique to South Africa and will have audiences demanding more.
