BANA BA THARI is a String Quintet, mainly performing light classics, Music from the Shows, Baroque, African, Pop and Jazz material
The musicians are classically trained, playing music from the Great Masters. They became involved in Professional show business by performing with Artistes such as Shirley Bassey, Natalie Cole and many others, in their Show Orchestras on their South African tours.
The members of the Quintet consist of four males and one female, playing 2 violins, 2 violas and one cello:-
The quintet can be augmented up to an 18-piece orchestra. They are fully professional musicians and perform all over South Africa.
