Both an irreverent speaker (do you know how many shortcomings men have?) and a fun MC, Sam Cowen co-anchors 94.7's 'Breakfast Xpress' with Darren 'Whackhead' Simpson.
Born in the United Kingdom in 1973, in a small town just outside London, she emigrated to South Africa in 1980 bringing with her a love of reading, culture and bangers and mash.
And since then she’s done it all. Radio news, a TV gameshow, MC work and talks for women and new mothers; she also co-authored the 5-season sell-out play - "No Sugar, Canderel Please" with Harry Sideropoulos. She has written 2 best-sellers, “Waiting for Christopher” on the pains and pleasures of bringing another human being into the world and "Good Enough Mother". Sam Cowen also has a column in Your Baby magazine called 'The Irreverent Mothers.'
Until recently, Sam hosted “Great Expectations”, the TV series which is a 21st Century guide to motherhood on eTV.
