Jason Hartman hails from KwaZulu Natal but moved to Jozi where he presently resides. He is one of the founding directors of Men of the Trees, an International Society of the Planting and protection of Trees and also creates sustainable food gardens.
Jason Hartman has played and entertained for over the past ten years both nationally and internationally. He started his career back in 1996 playing in a young three-piece rock band called Triad. The band played in and around Kwa Zulu Natal focusing mostly on rock classics.
Jason started a new band with his brother and father, Scott Hartman on Drums and Sam Hartman on rhythm guitar and vocals. The band went by the name Samson Show Band and played extensively throughout South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe. Jason Hartman currently heads up the entire Men of Trees line up. He entered SA Idols in 2009 and has been one of the best all round performers to win (co-win) this competition! He and his band are ready to take SA by storm.
Jason’s Four piece rock band is a versatile outfit comprising four top-class musicians. The band consists of two guitar and vocals, bass and drums. They perform a variety of rock classics stemming from the sixties to the present. Performing songs from the likes of Dire Straits, Mike and the Mechanics, Creedence Clear Water Revival and Eric Clapton.
Jason Hartman's band repertoire is extensive as they are able to entertain age groups both young and old. The band prides itself in state of the art equipment that is both compact and aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
