Dr Mark Manley

Mark has a Masters degree in Adult Education (Wits) and has headed-up his own consultancy since 1988 specialising in the areas of Strategy, Leadership and Transformation.  Having developed a number of new processes that have been shown to be highly effective. He works throughout South Africa, Africa and overseas with large businesses, key governmental departments, FBOs and NGOs.

On November 10 2011, he was a passenger on the ill-fated SA Airlink flight from O R Tambo International to Pietermaritzburg. The plane made a successful crash-landing but the lives and values of every passenger and crew member changed for ever.  Dr Manley learned lessons from that "wasn't my time to go" flight which he now shares with Leaders and Executives in the corporate world.

His background is in the media, politics, business and ministry. He has hosted many different music, magazine, talk and live programmes on national radio and TV. Getting involved in the struggle for democracy as a student (SRC president at the University of Natal) mark was involved in transitional politics and was mayor of Randburg during the transitional phase in the early nineties. (He was the youngest person to hold such a position in a major town in SA.)  He was also national coordinator of communications for the National Peace Secretariat during our transition to Democracy heading up the most effective branding campaign in South Africa's marketing history.
