Robby Collins
A comedian, an actor, and most of all, he’s just landed a role on Scandal.
Since 2008, Robby has been doing Stand-up Comedy in and around Durban where he won the ThunderHead New Act of the Year Award in his first attempt.
In 2009 he began traveling around South Africa doing the comedy club circuit and getting noticed by the big names in the business. Marc Lottering soon asked him to open for him in Port Elizabeth and after that came the opportunity to open for Cokey Folkow and John Vlismus in Durban.
He performed at the 99% Zulu Comedy Show at the ICC and the 99% Xhosa
Comedy Show in Port Elizabeth, followed by the Tshwane Comedy festival.
His aim is to be the next best thing in South African comedy and he went down a storm as the support act for Trevor Noah's "Daywalkers - Back By Popular Demand Show" in front of an audience of 3000 at Gold Reef City’s Lyric Theatre.
