Speakers
When considering a speaker for a conference, business breakfast or other company event, there are several criteria that need to be considered in order to maximise the value from your outlay.
As with any investment, you need to have clearly defined the objectives that need to be met. Are you having a business breakfast and looking for a business speaker, because you would like to thank your clients for their continuing support, or to thank your staff for the extra effort during challenging times – or both. Or is that same breakfast being put on to give your organisation a platform during which you are going to advise the invited guests about imminent changes, new products, new goals or something else that you really need to share with them?
Whatever you have defined as the reason for the gathering, it is ESSENTIAL that any speaker that you select wether it be a business speaker, motivational speak or guest speaker, will contribute in terms of take-home-value for your attendees.
If the key is to share uplifting, but honest, informed trends about the state of the nation or economy, then the likes of speakers; JP Landman, Justice Malala, Clem Sunter (or his co-author Chantell Ilbury) or Harald Pakendorf are all a shoe-in to deliver just that promise. Other speakers to consider are Steuart Pennington, Guy Lundy, Daniel Silke or Professor Andy Andrews.
