Amanda Dambuza
Amanda Dambuza is a PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince2 and Agile Practitioner.
She has been driving change in business and IT since 2000 and injects life into Uyandiswa through her leadership, broad range of skills, and in-depth knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
An experienced IT professional, Amanda has held various senior leadership roles at large corporates, including being the CIO (Chief Information Officer) in one of the largest multi-national banks in Africa.
A particularly passionate and energetic professional, she delivers superior and long-lasting experiences to her clients and this can only be achieved through employing and/or partnering with professionals who act with integrity and use simple, tried-and-tested methods that deliver lasting value.
In 2017, Amanda was the named the International Business Woman award by Veuve Clicquot. She was also named the “ELLE Boss” in the entrepreneurship category. The latter is to honour inspiring and successful businesswomen who empower, support and encourage female creativity and leadership. Amanda was also recently nominated as one of the ’50 Women through Inspiring Fifty’ – an initiative in cooperation with the Kingdom of the Netherlands, for the most inspiring South African women in the technology and innovation sectors.
A seasoned and highly regarded business woman, she was named in the ‘Top 30 Women You Need to Know and Applaud’ by Leadership Magazine.
An author and an awarded gender pioneer, she has driven leadership development work and delivered keynote addresses for a number of large corporates including Discovery Vitality Life UK, Unilever, Nampak, SHELL SA, SA Home Loans, Standard Bank, Rand Merchant Bank, the South African Reserve Bank and Absa, to mention a few.
She is a University of Witwatersrand and Duke Corporate Education graduate as well as an educator.
