Andile Khumalo

Andile Khumalo, a seasoned entrepreneur with over with over 20 years of finance and business experience. A Chartered Accountant (South Africa), he is the CEO of a firm that primarily invests in growth companies operating in Technology, Media and Financial Services.

​Andile serves as Chairman of investee companies Ince and Brave Group and was the founder of I AM AN ENTREPRENEUR.

He started his career at Deloitte and in 2002 he joined Investec as an investment banker after which he started a few businesses and eventually joined as a partner at MSG Afrika in 2007. After spending 11 years as a shareholder and COO of the media & communications group, he exited MSG Afrika to start KhumaloCo in early 2018.

​Andile has served in various non-executive roles over the years, including as a member of the Takeover Regulations Panel, a member of the Directorate of Market Abuse, a director of South African Airways, and President of ABASA. In 2013, Andile founded I AM AN ENTREPRENEUR, a national programme that helps entrepreneurs grow their businesses.

​His current non-executive roles include serving as Chairman of the SANParks Investment Committee; an Independent Audit Committee member at the Amplats Group Provident Fund; an Investment Committee member at Kisby Fund, a Board member of the Mentor-A-Boy-Child initiative; as well as a fellow of The Centre for African Management and Markets (CAMM) at The Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS).

​He regularly writes and speaks on Doing Business in South Africa, Entrepreneurship and Transformation.
