Clement Manyathela

Clement Manyathela is a broadcast journalist and a sought-after MC and moderator at corporate functions. Having cut his broadcasting teeth at Primedia, he now hosts 702’s ‘The Clement Manyathela Show’ every weekday between 09:00 and 12:00 and is also a news anchor on Newzroom Afrika channel 405.

Clement graduated from the University of Pretoria with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism in 2013 and has worked as a news reporter for more than nine years, many of those years reporting on politics.

He started his career at the Pretoria News as a weekend reporter, and while studying, had a stint at the SABC news online. He has had worked at Africa News Network and Power FM, among others.

Clement spent time as a journalist for the leading news agency ‘Eyewitness News’ and has interviewed senior politicians and industry leaders. He has covered numerous major news stories and has travelled with President Cyril Ramaphosa, covering his state visits in such countries as China and India.

He’s worked in broadcast journalism for more than ten years and has spent many of those years reporting on politics. He started his career at the Pretoria News as a weekend reporter while studying, had a stint at the SABC news online, hosted a daily show at Power FM and The Morning show on e.tv. He also co-anchors ‘Nightline’ and ‘CrimeWatch’ on eNCA.

His experience facilitating conversations with international celebrities like Sir Richard Branson and Gregory Porter, and local dignitaries including President Cyril Ramaphosa, Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng, former President Jacob Zuma and Caiphus Semenya, has created a demand for his services as an MC and facilitator.
