Xoli Mngambi

Xoli Mngambi is a seasoned broadcaster who is seen daily on eNCA NOW. His broadcasting career began at business channel Summit TV (under the then BDfm stable). He then took up an invitation to move across to CNBC Africa in 2007, helping to establish the bed the channel in in the combines roles of both a business and current affairs reporter.

Xoli has built a solid brand as a respected political journalist whose opinion matters where current affairs is concerned. He has won awards in recognition of his work.

An additional feather in his cap is that Xoli now hosts his own show on the country’s leading news channel, eNCA, between 09h00-11h00 weekdays.

Some of his career highlights include winning an award for his compelling coverage of the infamous Marikana massacre as it unfolded on our TV screens on 16 August 2012. He also covered the recall of two presidents from office, Thabo Mbeki in 2008 and Jacob Zuma in 2018.

He is often seen on corporate South African stages where he moderates panel discussion for the likes of Standard Bank, Aluwani Capital Partners and the Mail and Guardian’s critical thinking on the youth vote ahead of the elections..
