Letshego Zulu

Letshego has a passion for all things regarding a healthy and active lifestyle. She is a qualified biokineticist, a Mom, an MC, and the co-Founder of PopUpGym, a movement that promotes healthy and active lifestyles by showing people that they can train anywhere, anytime.

Letshego is also the author of “I Choose To Live: Life after Losing Gugu”, a memoir dedicated to her late husband, racing driver Gugulethu Zulu. He tragically passed away on Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2016. In this memoir, Letshego shares the intimate details around his passing and the heartbreak. She then empowers readers with insightful lessons about how to pick up the pieces after life has thrown multiple challenges your way.

She has, on numerous occasions, shared her opinions and vast knowledge regarding health, wellness and fitness on various radio and television channels as well as in the print media. She currently has a weekly fitness column in The Citizen newspaper called ‘Fitness At Large’.

With her adventurous personality, Letshego was the runner-up on ‘Survivor SA Maldives’ and also came 4th on ‘Fear Factor SA’. She also has a growing list of personal sporting achievements as an avid runner, cyclist, and swimmer who has completed sporting events such as the Comrades Marathon, The Absa Cape Epic, joBerg2c, the Two Oceans Marathon, the Coronation Double Century, the 947 Cycle Challenge, the Cape Town Cycle Tour and the Rio de Janeiro Marathon, amongst many other events. She is also an avid mountaineer and has summited Mount Kilimanjaro.
