Udo Carelse is an award winning News, Current Affairs and Sport presenter whose career spans nearly 3 decades. In that time he has worked across various platforms and for numerous blue chip brands, spanning public and private media organisations.

He also holds the rare distinction of having presented anchor breakfast shows in both English and Afrikaans. He currently hosts RSG’s flagship daily morning news and current affairs show ‘Monitor’ and anchors various shows in English on sister station SAfm.

When he does not have his nose dug deep into a news story he works as International cricket and rugby commentator for SABC Sport as well as International Broadcast companies. He currently also hosts a weekly Sport Show ‘Final Analysis’ on SABC 3 and across his career has covered just about every major World Cup, World Championships and Olympic Games since 2006.

Udo is also a sought after media training facilitator, specialising in gearing up senior executives of major corporations and public institutions for the rigours of communicating their unique brand message in the media space.
